The data from the Polish corpus of suicide notes were the most difficult I have ever had contact with. I was reading letters of people who died after writing them. I was collecting interviews then, but I decided to stop. Spur of the moment. I decided I had to write a book on the notes. I was very pleased to get a contract with Bloomsbury for the book.
